We loved staying at this hotel in the heart of the city. The rooms were amazing - super modern with incredible showers and beautiful finishes. The curtains provided full blackout, which is rare in many hotels. The location couldn't have been better, right in the center of everything on a busy tourist street and with a bus stop nearby. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, guiding us to see a beautiful Northern Lights showing. We also enjoyed the complimentary beverages and the size of the room which surpassed our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at Ion City! The rooms were beautifully designed and luxurious, with large windows and a wet room for the bathroom. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The highlight was our penthouse room, which had a sauna on the balcony and a large bathtub. The staff was friendly and helpful, guiding us to see the stunning Northern Lights. We also appreciated the complimentary beverages. Despite some minor noise from nearby clubs, our overall experience at Ion City was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Reykjavik!

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just steps away from bustling bars and restaurants on a busy tourist street. The room was spacious and comfortable, and despite being in the main street, we couldn't hear a thing. The staff provided outstanding service, with Valerie at the front desk being particularly helpful.

Housekeeping entered our room despite our explicit request not to do so.

The room size was excellent, much larger than expected. the bathroom was impressive, especially the rainshower head. the location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city.

The pillows were uncomfortable because they were too high and big. the noise from the pubs down the street was incredibly loud, especially on the weekends, making it difficult to sleep.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel on my recent trip. The location was right on the main street with easy access to restaurants, shops, and bars. The staff were incredibly helpful with things like dry cleaning, laundry, and tours. The room was beautiful with great amenities like an in-room safe and soundproofed walls. I also enjoyed the welcome drink and the happy hour in the bar/ lounge area. The fitness center was a great amenity as well.

If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay with great service and amenities, I recommend this place.

I had the most amazing experience at Ion City! The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious. The highlight was definitely the sauna on the balcony, such a unique feature. To top it off, we were greeted with champagne upon arrival. The staff was fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends!

One small drawback was that parking on the street could be a challenge due to the hotel's central location. Additionally, it would be great if there was a deal with the restaurant and bar for hotel guests.

The size of the room was fantastic, way bigger than other European hotels. the rainshower head in the bathroom was amazing, our favorite part!

The staff was not always knowledgeable or helpful. They didn't do a thorough search when my son lost his passport and never called me back.

Modern rooms with great facilities including a complimentary mini bar. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Convenient location for tours and excursions, surrounded by restaurants and a supermarket. Walking distance to everything in the city center.

We were really impressed with this place! Its location on the main street was perfect, with restaurants, bars, and shops just steps away. We were a bit worried that it might be noisy but we slept really well, especially in our top floor room. The staff here really went above and beyond, providing outstanding service. They were warm, friendly, and happy to give recommendations and directions. We also loved the little touches like the towel warming rack and the complimentary minibar. The room itself was so cozy and comfortable, with a chaise/bench by the window where we spent a lot of time just relaxing. we highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel lacks parking facilities, making it difficult to find a place to park.
